About The Staff Member

I am Sylvia Baah-Tuahene, a dedicated research professional with expertise in interdisciplinary studies encompassing food, nutrition, agriculture, and science and technology policies.

I have a strong background in food safety, food processing, data analysis, sensory evaluation of foods, product development, risk assessment, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). My research focuses on driving innovation, sustainability, and safety within the food value chain, with a specific interest in aflatoxins.

Passionate about contributing to sustainable food production systems, I prioritize environmental well-being and nutritional quality in my work. Currently, I am working on aflatoxin mitigation measures developed for the groundnut value chain in Ghana.
