Financial reporting and financial modelling for public sector organizations.About The Staff Member
Before joining the CSIR-Savannah Agricultural Research Institute (CSIR-SARI), I began my career at the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) as a Customer Service Officer, following my first degree. Through diligence and determination, I advanced to the position of Accountant in January 2017 and was promoted to Senior Accountant in July 2022.
At CSIR-SARI, I have held several leadership roles, including serving as the local president of the CSIR-Administrators Association of Ghana (CAAG) from January 2022 to March 2024. Additionally, I chaired the Loans Committee of the SARI Workers Credit Union from 2014 to 2017 and contributed as a member of both the Fuel Committee and the Fixed Assets Coordinating Unit (FACU) of CSIR-SARI.
On April 15, 2024, I was appointed Head of the Finance and Accounts at the CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (CSIR-STEPRI). One of my significant achievements has been effectively translating financial theory into practical financial reporting for various donor-supported projects. I have successfully managed funds and produced financial reports for over 15 donor organizations, including CORAF, USAID, CIMMYT, and AGRA.
In my new role at CSIR-STEPRI, I aim to leverage my experience for aggressive resource mobilization and the prudent use of funds. Personally, I am known for my conscientiousness and reliable nature and maintain well-balanced interpersonal relationships with both superiors and peers.
