Dr. Crystal Bubune Letsa is a Research Scientist at the CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (CSIR-STEPRI). She holds a PhD in Population Studies from the University of Ghana, an MPhil in Statistics, a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Lund, Sweden.
Her research spans population dynamics, land use change, climate resilience, food security, and gender participation in science, technology, and innovation. She has contributed to national and international projects on climate-smart flood management, nutrition, and monitoring frameworks for science, technology, and innovation policy.
Dr. Letsa is passionate about applying data-driven insights to inform policy and sustainable development, and she actively mentors young scientists through outreach and capacity-building initiatives.
